Doing whatever it takes!
January, 2020Hi, I’m Veronica and I am a COLD-FXer. The two main ways I stay healthy are by drinking a lot of water throughout the day and trying to ensure I get at least eight hours of sleep each night. I like to make sure I do some form of activity that pushes my body to its fullest capacity three to four times a week. I also take a variety of vitamins, minerals and supplements based on my own health needs. I notice a positive difference in my health and energy levels when I make a conscious effort to incorporate fresh vegetables into my diet, so I try to do this year-round and especially during the winter months. My days are fast-paced but I sit for most of the time. To make up for this, I need to get to bed early around 9:30 p.m. to ensure I get enough rest and wake up early around 6 a.m. to give me time to get to the gym before work. Knowing that my workout is already done and that I can wind down in the evening helps me stay motivated throughout the day.
I am lucky to have multiple health-conscious family members who inspire me to reach my health goals. Whether it’s someone who has a consistent gym routine or one who always makes an effort to eat clean, I am surrounded by people who push me to live my healthiest life.
